How NOT to Write about Female Musicians
Maura Johnson’s article about the shocking stupidity and sexism everpresent in the way critics write about female musicians should be obvious. It infuriates me that the world is blind and misguided enough to actually need this explained. I don’t even find this article particularly well-written or insightful and yet I’m forwarding it here! That’s how bad this situation has gotten! I will forward any article at all on this subject!
