Whoa! I’ve always loved Gloria Grahame and Nicholas Ray, but I’d never heard about this scandal! Like she sang in Oklahoma “I’m just a girl who can’t say no”.

One assumes that the history of Grahame’s relationship with her former stepson - Nicholas Ray (director, Rebel Without a Cause, Johnny Guitar, etc.) divorced Grahame after finding her in bed with his teenaged son, Tony - probably accounted for some of the media interest in Grahame & Tony’s marriage.
